Day 17 Challenge: Firemen’s Parade

Our first full day home the kids and I walked to our Village of Mamaraneck to watch the Firemen’s Parade. We stopped for frozen yogurt ($7.62) and ate it while we were waiting for the parade to start. The parade was everything you expected it to be, fire engines, marching bands, and politicians. The parade itself is not my thing but Chloe and Noah had a blast playing bubbles with the other kids and watching the parade. We live so close to one of the largest cities in the world but we still have a small town vibe. I love it and can’t imagine a better place for our kids to grow up.
